Zac Dalton
Co-President
Zac has spent over 20 years as a trusted advisor in the Finance, Insurance and Insolvency space with focus on client and vendor relationships in the commercial and industrial sector. His expertise and relationships in corporate asset management span many sectors including construction, transportation, oil and gas, mining, marine, agriculture and an industry agnostic insurance team. Zac has had direct management responsibility to large territory sales, complex contract negotiations and has led many significant equity investments within the insolvency space.
Jim Burke
Co-President
Jim has spent over 15 years in the distressed investing and restructuring industry, primarily focusing on the commercial and industrial sector. His expertise spans across a wide range of industries including construction, oil and gas, transportation, mining, aerospace, motor-sports, textiles and consumer products. Jim has overseen business development, deal structure, negotiation and execution for investments within various structures including M&A, bankruptcy, receivership, ABC’s and private sale. Jim is also responsible for developing key corporate partnerships over the course of his career.
Ben Beasley
Executive Vice President
Ben has spent over 15 years in the industrial equipment and industrial real estate spaces, focused primarily on acquisition, development and divestment. His expertise in deal negotiation, client advisory and asset management bridges a variety of industries, including oil and gas, construction, transportation, mining and commercial real estate. Most recently, his focus has been in the Oil & Gas sector, overseeing the management of multi-regional sales groups and disposition platforms. Ben has led a number of large-scale strategic disposition and acquisition projects for clients ranging from regional to global.
Tim Bowling
Executive Vice President
Tim has spent over 20 years in the Finance, Distressed and Restructuring space focusing on the commercial and industrial sectors as a trusted advisor for clients. His clients benefit from his wide array of extensive industry knowledge which includes transportation, construction, mining, marine and energy to provide streamlined solutions to complex situations. Tim brings a unique mix of strategy and operations expertise to his engagements in order to maximize value thru asset disposition or corporate restructure. He has also served and advised on portfolio management, M&A, and strategic alliance projects that utilize his finance, accounting and risk management background.
Jim Lightburn
Co-Founder
Jim has spent over 20 years in the Commercial, Industrial & Retail distressed investing, liquidation and restructuring space. Jim works with clients to design and implement comprehensive, global solutions across a broad spectrum of asset classes. Jim has held senior level leadership positions where he has managed all aspects of large commercial and industrial engagements including due diligence, financial modeling, operations, legal negotiations, business development and marketing. He has expertise in wholesale inventory, machinery and equipment, intellectual property, and accounts receivable.
Chris Sharron
Senior Vice President
Chris has spent over 30 years in the insurance (salvage), government surplus and consumer packaged goods industry. His expertise spreads across a wide range of asset classes including heavy equipment, transportation, marine, aviation, agriculture, consumer products, luxury goods and commodities. Chris has had direct multi-national management responsibility and lead teams through many different complex investments within the insurance (salvage) and government sector. Chris has a successful background in strategic business development, trade marketing, global internet sales and platform management.
Vince Lorenz
Director, Fleet & Valuations
Vince has over 20 years of experience working in the heavy equipment industry having started his career from the ground up working at his family’s construction equipment business. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers and has worked with various institutions helping them understand equipment values, residual analysis, and remarketing strategies. He has managed complex appraisal and liquidation projects across multiple industries and various geographic areas. Specialty subject matter areas for Vince include heavy lifting & rigging, transportation, mining, construction and the oil and gas pipeline industries.
Nick Jaeger
Director, Financial Planning and Analysis
Nick has spent several years in the distressed investing and disposition space focusing primarily on commercial and industrial assets. He has handled the financial and analytical aspects for client engagements during due diligence, underwriting, monitoring, and operations. Nick has worked across a range of assets including wholesale inventory, machinery and equipment, intellectual property, and accounts receivable. Nick combines his finance and operations background to provide deal support for multi-asset investment opportunities.
Justin Jensen
Director, Operations
Justin has spent over 15 years working in Supply Chain and Operations. His experience ranges across multiple roles with his primary focus being in the Oil & Gas and Transportation sectors. Justin has overseen Inventory and Asset Management, Procurement, Fleet Management and Compliance.
Wes Hardee
Director, Business Development
Wes has over 5 years in the auction and equipment disposition space, focused primarily on business development of account acquisitions and divestures for small to large-multinational industrial and oil and gas clients. His expertise in business development, deal structure, negotiation and program execution has built lasting relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for capital assets. Wes has also spent several years in finance for an oil and gas interests and family office firm.
Barret Arthur
Director, Business Development
Barret has spent 10 years as a professional involved in distressed investing, business reorganization, and asset divestiture in the industrial sector. He has expertise in construction, oil and gas, transportation, mining, and across multiple manufacturing industries. Barret has been involved in business development, transaction structure, legal negotiation, and execution of many different investment types. He has deep knowledge of Bankruptcy, Receivership, Assignment, and UCC Article 9 processes.
Liz Roose
Manager, Business Operations
For over 20 years, Liz has collaborated with professionals across a wide range of industries with a particular focus and expertise in the automotive industry. Liz has worked with local and federal government agencies, courts and corporations providing expert fleet management and titling services. Her strong background and knowledge of various departments ensure uncomplicated and fluid interactions with clients and partners.
Brandon Love
Manager, Field Operations
Brandon has held multiple operational roles for the past decade. His experience ranges from operation of machinery, equipment inspection, repair and asset management. In addition to his wide range of experience in operations roles, Brandon has also fulfilled sales roles and spent 3+ years as a leasing agent throughout his time at the University of Arkansas.
Mercedes Lombardi
Manager, Business Operations
Mercedes is a recent graduate from Kent State University with her Bachelor’s in Business Management. She has a background of several years of retail management experience. Mercedes combines her education and retail management background to assist in coordinating day to day operations.
Jason Shankleton

With over 3 decades of experience, Jason has successfully catered to a diverse clientele, ranging from small-scale contractors to large commercial enterprises, as well as industrial and oil & gas clients. His expertise lies in problem-solving and providing tailored solutions to meet specific customer requirements. Jason’s passion for the business and proficiency in identifying suitable products ensures that your needs are efficiently and effectively addressed.
Phil Melicant
Director, Inspection Services
Phil has over 25 years of inspection experience at the Federal, State, and Local level in the Construction, Industrial and Transportation sectors. His expertise in commercial operations, hazardous materials, and vehicle inspections for the Federal Motor Carrier Administration is a key to his ability to accurately assess the condition and valuation of capital assets. Phil is a proud US Marine Corp. veteran and former Ohio State DOT Enforcement officer with private company management and leadership skills.
